Caitlin LoCascio-King, Esq.
Caitlin is admitted to practice in both the Maine State courts as well as the United States District Court, District of Maine. She is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, has been an Honoree of the Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program each year since its inception and has been named a Rising Star by Superlawyers each year since 2015. She is a regular faculty member on continuing legal education courses on the topics of elder law, estate planning and trusts. Prior to opening the Firm, Caitlin was an associate attorney at a mid-size law firm, did contract work for a number of Maine and New Hampshire law firms and was the law clerk at Unum. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law and was awarded the Pro Bono Publico Award. While at Maine Law, she was a student attorney at Legal Services for the Elderly and United States Attorney's Office, a member of the Conrad B. Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition and a research assistant on articles published in the American Bankruptcy Review and Loyola Law Journal.
Caitlin served on the Board of Directors for the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland from 2016-2018. She is active in alumni mentoring for the University of Maine School of Law and, in 2010, she was appointed to the Maine Advisory Committee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights. Caitlin resides in Scarborough with her husband, children and the family's beagle-mix rescues and barn cats.

Meghan joined the Firm in 2014. She quickly become our resident software programming expert and is an invaluable asset in making every aspect of the Firm as efficient as possible. Meghan tends to work behind the scenes for our elder law and estate planning clients while simultaneously right at the fore with our collection accounts. She lives with her husband and young daughter.
